Q. What is the STAR Program?
A. The STAR program is a partnership effort between INPW and participating families that allows fund raising to offset the costs of registration for football and cheerleading.
Q. How does it work?
A. The STAR families will work together from the end of February through the end of May to fund raise enough money to cover the registration costs for the whole group.
Q. How do I sign up?
A. Sign up by email or phone for one of the orientation meetings to be held at the end of February. DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 15, 2009. Registration will be completed at orientation with a signed contract, INPW football or cheer registration forms, and commitment fee payment.
Q. How much does the program cost?
A. The family registration fee for the STAR program is $55.00. This fee remains the same for multiple children within the same family. $5.00 of this fee is an administration cost while the remaining $50.00 is a deposit that could potentially be refunded.
Q. What happens if the program does NOT meet the fund raising goals?
A. In the event that despite all efforts, the program doesn't meet the goals to pay for all of the participants' registration fees in full, the raised monies will offset the registration costs for everyone equally. In that case, the $50.00 deposit would be applied and each family would need to pay any remainder.
Q. What happens if the program DOES meet the fund raising goals?
A. If the program meets the goals, great! In that case all of the participants would have their registrations paid in full and each family would receive a refund of their $50.00 deposit.
Q. What kind of fund raising is involved?
A. The particulars of this will be discussed and decided by the STAR families. Possibilities include, but are in no way limited to, sponsorships, item sales, yard sales, car washes, and raffles.
